Round Up: “Let Me Count the Ways”

“Let Me Count the Ways”
August 26, 2025
When I typed the title I immediately thought of the Count Von Count from Sesame Street. And it made me sad that the content that taught many of us to share, count, spell, and made us giggle while learning life lessons is endangered.
Big shout out to all you Calendar Club members that have upped your monthly giving!
A reminder that you can’t do it yourself, but I am happy to assist and it takes less than a minute on the phone or you can stop by the office on your way to the library.
I continue to be encouraged by the lovely conversations I am having with people who care about KWMR. There are some great ideas out there!
A few things coming up. In September you will see us at the Farmers Market in Point Reyes Station, so swing by and say hi. Save the date, Sunday, October 12. Parachute Days is throwing a gig at Toby’s for KWMR. There will be music, Hog Island oysters, tasty food, and beverages. Georgeish Joneslike is confirmed to play and Gabe Korty is lining up some fun entertainment. On Tuesday, October 14 Ian Jones (my baby brother singer/songwriter) will be playing at the Western with Jeff Manson opening. And on December 4th Sheryl Cahill owner of the Station House Cafe is hosting a fun(d)raiser for KWMR (tickets go on sale soon) featuring tasty bites, cocktails and the music of Jesse DeNatale. All benefits for KWMR.
And be sure to stop by Lina Jane Prairie’s booth at the Point Reyes Farmer’s Market on Saturday the 30th. She will be selling winter kelp baskets with proceeds going to KWMR.

Jordan Bowen has spiffed up KWMR’s “Support” page. See below for the many ways we can count on your support. Thank you for your support!
