KWMR Executive Director Amanda Eichstaedt on KALW’s “Your Call” to Talk Federal Funding Cuts

KWMR Station Manager and Executive Director Amanda Eichstaedt appeared on San Francisco public radio station KALW’s “Your Call” with Rose Aguilar on Tuesday, August 5, to discuss the impact of federal funding cuts on independent radio stations like KWMR.

“I’m getting a lot of feedback from our listeners,” said Eichstaedt. She told KALW listeners about the success of listener Lee Giammona’s idea to increase donations by 25% to make up for the funding shortfall. “There’s some opportunity for people to step up.”
