Woop  Woop!!!

Update on our outage last week. The backup antenna is doing a good job. The damaged antenna will be sent back to the manufacturer for diagnosis and repair. 

KWMR successfully met our $50,000 Pledge Drive goal just before 4 PM on Sunday during “Foraging with Betsy Nichols.” It is daunting at the beginning of the drive to see the progress wheel at 2%. It seems an unsurmountable task to get to 100%. But as the days go on and the progress inches forward, we begin to realize that our community is with us. That we are all in this together. We thank everyone who pitched in, regardless of the size of your contribution, ever cent moved us closer to our overall goal. In fact, we exceeded the goal by a bit. Thank you!!!

Today is Halloween! Boo. If you are out and about with trick or treaters, swing by KWMR to check out the radio station and get some goodies. Loretta Farley, Gus Conde, and Alyssa Tanner will be around! And starting after 6:30 PM tune in for Halloween-themed music, and a LIVE broadcast of Spooky Ghost Stores told from an undisclosed location and broadcast on KWMR! Thank you Sharron Drake (KWMR Board Member) and Allison Faust (former KWMR Board Member) who have started a new production company, Musemaker Labs Production. We look forward to seeing where this creative endeavor takes you both, and our artistic community!
