Wednesday, February 1 – Sanctuary Further Restricts Low-Flying Aircraft posted Feb 1 at 6AM

With the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary's Tightened Regulations, FAA Charts Will Warn Pilots of 1,000 Foot Minimum Altitude Over Bolinas Lagoon, Pt. Reyes and Other Areas - But Not Tomales Bay, Yet.  Sanctuary Superintendent Maria Brown tells George Clyde that new restrictions for Tomales Bay and Pt. Resistance were beyond the scope of this amendment process. But, thanking the many local individuals and organizations that suggested their inclusion, she says that the two areas are next for consideration.
