Tuesday, July 17 – New Protections for Local Whales posted Jul 17 at 6AM
Requests for Ships to Slow Down and Proposed Changes in the Shipping Lanes Were Urged by a Joint Working Group of the Cordell Bank and Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuaries. Cordell Bank Sanctuary's Deputy Superintendent Michael Carver and John Berge of the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association describe to George Clyde these first actions recommended by the joint working group.
