Monday, September 19 – Nationalization Ceremony at Seashore posted Sep 19 at 5AM
Students from West Marin School Sing and Learn at Park Citizenship Ceremony Park Superintendent Cicely Muldoon opened the second annual naturalization ceremony for 19 new American citizens at the Seashore. The 5th and 6th graders sang the National Anthem, and 8th grade teacher Julie Cassel brought her students as a civics lesson. Gus Conde, who was naturalized many years ago, tells George Clyde what it means to him and others to gain citizenship and voting rights.
