In this Special Memorial Day Edition of the West Marin Report, We Rebroadcast an Account by John Neff of the Ceremony at the Small Graveyard on the Historic G Ranch. Ranger Kim Hawkins describes the dangerous job of a surfman at the Pt. Reyes Lifeboat Station, which operated from 1890 to 1969, with the last deaths in 1960.
