Thursday, May 24 – Fish & Game Commission on Oyster Controversy posted May 24 at 5AM
California Fish & Game Commission Declines to Adopt Resolution Declaring Its Authority Over Drakes Estero Shellfish Operations. Former Assemblyman William Bagley urged passage of the resolution, which he said would help Senator Dianne Feinstein negotiate a solution with Interior Secretary Ken Salazar. Commissioner Richard Rogers and other Commissioners favor the continuation of the oyster operations through 2029, but Rogers says it depends on the Park Service's decision.
