Tuesday, May 15 – Dewey Livingston on Nicasio's Sesquicentennial posted May 15 at 5AM

A Parade, Horse-Drawn Wagons, Blacksmithing and Children's Costumed Renditions of the Early Years Were All Part of Nicasio's 150th Anniversary Celebration Saturday.  Historian Dewey Livingston describes the event, tells of the luxury hotel's ballroom, horseracing and the baseball field in times gone by, and warmly describes the Nicasio of today.  Links to Livingston's second installment of this report and to Nicasio Historical Society to purchase books by Livingston and Elaine Doss.
