Thursday, May 3 –Straus on GMO Labeling; Olema Inn Closes posted May 3 at 5AM

Albert Straus Gives a Speech and Provides Organic GMO-free Ice Cream Yesterday as California GMO Labeling Initiative Moves Forward, and the Olema Inn Closes.   (1) The California Right to Know group filed nearly one-million signatures to get GMO labeling on the November ballot, strongly supported by Albert Straus of Straus Family Creamery.  (2) Olema Inn & Restaurant has closed awaiting a new owner; no comment from rumored buyer.

Also, the County has received a state grant of $750K to complete Phase 2 of the Marshall Community Septic System, including about 20 homes and Tony's Seafood Restaurant.  Much credit goes to Supervisor Steve Kinsey's aide, Liza Crosse. <Not on audio>
