Thursday, February 23 – New “Green” Hostel Building at Seashore posted Feb 23 at 5AM
Yesterday Park Officials Celebrated the Opening of a New Hostel Facility Built to LEED Green Building Standards. The new building, likely be the first LEED certified hostel in the county, will accommodate family groups up to five. Brenda Kohn speaks with Danielle Brumfitt of Hostelling International USA's Golden Gate Council, which operates the hostel, and with Park Superintendent Cicely Muldoon, who sees it as a fitting launch for the Seashore's 50th Anniversary year.
