Friday, November 18 – Salmon Ceremony at Redwood Creek posted Nov 18 at 7AM
Annual "Welcome Back Salmon" Ceremony at Muir Beach The traditional fire-starting and storytelling ceremony last Sunday, conducted by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, was proceeded by volunteer habitat restoration at Redwood Creek. Brenda Kohn reports on the event, which launched a year-long focus on the Coho Salmon as the GGNRA's "Species of the Year."
