The National Emergency Alert System Test Was Successful at KWMR The system allows the government to take over the airwaves of all radio and TV stations nationwide or by region in an emergency. Richard Dillman, KWMR Transmitter Wrangler, explains the national system to George Clyde and also describes local emergency communications capabilities at KWMR.
