This week's guest is writer and political analyst Summer Brennan, based in Brooklyn and West Marin.
Summer has spent much of the last five years writing about the decolonization process, disarmament and international security for the United Nations Press Office in New York. She holds a Master’s from New York University, where she studied Middle Eastern Studies and Journalism.
She has written for the San Francisco Chronicle, McSweeney’s, SMITH Magazine, Fitness Magazine, RYOT News and others, and locally has contributed reporting to the Point Reyes Light and West Marin Citizen. She is currently working on her first book, expected in Autumn 2014.
An artist in her spare time, Summer's paintings have appeared in solo and group exhibitions in New York, California and Vermont.
